  • Comment: Alamo Peak is located off the Sun Spot Highway across from Benson Ridge Road and offers a paved road into the area.  There are plenty of camping spots, and wild life is prevalent.  There are several out and back trails in the area with a least one really nice overlook spot, looking out over West Side Road.  Trails are two wheel drive for the most part. Some are more suited to side by sides due to there width but you can make it through with a full size rig. Some trails may be muddy if there has been a recent rain, which happens a lot during the summer.

General Information:

  • Meeting location is usually the Shell Gas Station at the intersection of Highway 82 and Florida Ave.
  • Alamo Peak is located off of Sun Spot Highway 6563 across from Benson Ridge Road.
